Training
Job training consists of classroom instruction, including inspection and repair of aircraft engines and equipment. Training length varies depending upon the specialty. Further training occurs on the job and through advanced courses.
Passion and Profession
Aircraft Maintenance Mechanics inspect and perform or supervise maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alteration of aircraft and aircraft systems. In the US, aircraft maintenance technicians usually refer to themselves as A&Ps, for airframe and power plant mechanics. They may hold either one or both certificates.
Go Beyond
An Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic should never give up and stop. Always go on. An Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic should always be studying and updating his knowledge because of the continuously changes at the aviation field.
